Life's full of surprises, it's true, you see,

Gives unexpected gifts, just wait and be free.

Family like friends, they're there, never apart,

But craving for more, a whole, loving heart.

We strive and we fight, in someone's world we roam,

But when they depart, we feel so alone.

No more dictating struggles or yearn for a sign,

That those meant to be will be here, yours and mine.

Through life's twists and turns, in joy and in strife,

We'll cherish the ones who bring meaning to life.

Surprises may come, like a twirl or a whirl,

But true, loyal hearts, they're our precious pearl.

So, let's celebrate life's unpredictable grace,

With friends who'll stand by us, in every embrace.

In this journey, we share, under the sun or moon's shine,

Those meant to be with us will be here for all time.

It's a feeling I have known for a long time, Echoed deep from the childhood, unseen and unheard. From the relatives to friends, even those close and dear, Insecurities planted in me, growing year by year. I'm insecure of myself, afraid to be alone, Told only smart, pretty girls are known. My skin tone is not bright enough to shine, Insecure of my nose, not sharp and fine. My eyes, not large, fail to impress, My speech, not well groomed, lacks sweetness. Even on my walk, don't maintain any beauty code, Insecurities are built into me on societal mode. Each one is valid, each one is backed, So why, one day, did he nag?
